- What happens if I do not select a fragrance for a particular month?
- Don't worry, we've got you covered! We'll send you our carefully curated Scent Of The Month, so you'll always have something to spritz on. Whether it's the male or female scent of the month, will depend on what preference you have chosen in your accont settings. But if you want to pick your own scent every month, feel free to head over to our product page and make your selection.
- What does the queue function mean when choosing products?
- The queue determines the order in which you receive your chosen fragrances. For example, the first slot represents the first fragrance you will receive, the second slot represents the second fragrance you will receive, and so on. To add scent to your queue simply click the 'Add to Queue' button.
- Will my subscription renew automatically?
- Yes, it will! But don't stress. If you change your mind and don't want to continue with your subscription, you can cancel it no later than one day prior to your scheduled billing date. You can find your billing date in the 'my account' section. Just think of it as a reminder of when you'll be billed, just in case you need to budget for another month of fragrance delight!
- How long will It take to receive my first subscription?
- You're subscription is shipped via An Post so shipping times vary, scents are usually delivered within 3-5 working days from date of billing.
- Are these authentic scents?
- Absolutely! We only deal with authorised wholesalers or the brands themselves to ensure that every scent we carry is 100% original. No knock-offs, imitations, or fakes.
- How many fragrances do I get in my monthly subscription?
- Right now we're only offering one scent of your choosing per month. But keep an eye out for updates, we'll have more options for you to sniff out soon!
- How much does a SimpleScents subscription cost?
- Our monthly plan is €15.95 per month, with some select products costing an additional fee. These products are clearly marked before choosing. If you'd like to save, you can opt for our 6-month plan at €15.15 per month or our 12-month plan at €14.30 per month. Subscriptions can be upgraded once subscribed to our monthyl plan.
- Can I try a single month?
- Yes, as long as you cancel before the next monthly billing period. We are a month-to-month fragrance subscription service, but you can cancel anytime. You can also pause your subscription at any time. If a subscription is not for you, try our a la carte orders, just visit our 'Single Samples' page.
- Will I receive one of those fancy travel cases with my subscription order?
- Of course! You will receive our stylish aluminium travel case FREE with your first order. Every month thereafter you will receive the vial in our eco-friendly packaging to reload your travel case. How convenient!
- Can I send my fragrance to someone else?
- Yes, within your account you can control your addresses. Just make sure you give us plenty notice, or it might not go through! Just remember to change it back after your month ships otherwise, they will continue to receive future months scents until you change it back.
- How does my fancy travel case work?
- To open, twist the bottom section to the right. To close, twist the bottom section to the left. To remove the vial to display the name of the perfume you're carrying, twist the bottom section to the right to open – then pull out the atomiser.
- Can I choose from both men’s and women’s fragrance?
- Absolutely! Just switch between both catalogs and add your desired scents to your fragrance queue.
- How much does shipping cost?
- Not a penny, Shipping with our monthly subscription is free! We deliver your package straight through your letterbox each month, so you don’t have to worry about not being home.
- What countries do you ship to?
- We are currently only shipping to the Republic of Ireland. However, keep an eye out for updates, and soon you'll be able to spritz with the best of them, no matter where you are!
- Can I return my fragrance if I don't like it?
- We offer free exchanges if you're not loving your scent. You'll just cover the return shipping for the fragrance you'd like to swap, and we'll send your replacement free of charge. Just make sure the fragrance is full and in good condition before sending it back. To exchange a fragrance reach out to info@simplescents.ie and we will take care of it!
- How do your referrals work?

- How do gift subscriptions work?
- On your chosen date, your recipient will get an email from us with your personal message and a link to activate their gift subscription. Once they sign up, they can start picking the scents they'd like to try right away! Prefer to give the surprise in person? No problem - you can choose to have the email sent to you instead. Don't worry, the gift won't auto-renew once it ends. If they love it (and they probably will), they can subscribe themselves - or you can treat them again with another gift!

- How will I know if a fragrance has an add-on fee?
- You'll see a clear label on any fragrance that has an add-on fee when browsing or managing your queue. Before confirming your selection each month, the add-on fee will be clearly displayed, so you're always aware of any additional costs.
- Are designer brands now classified as premium?
- No not all designer brands have an add-on fee. The niche scents we carry often feature higher quality ingredients and more unique compositions than many mass-market designer brands, so we want you to experience them without paying extra. To make that possible, we're supplementing the subscription fee with small add-on charges for certain designer scents. This way, you get the best of both worlds - access to rare, high-quality niche fragrances and the option to explore popular designer scents when you choose.
- What do I get?
- Each month, we'll send you a 8 mL bottle of the fragrance you choose, which should last until the next scent arrives. Your first order will be sent with the stylish travel case in your choice of color.
- Are there consequences if I cancel?
- Nope! If you need to cancel your membership, simply head to your subscription page and hit the "Cancel Subscription" button.

- We'll send you an email as soon as your order has shipped! Your first SimpleScents package should ship from our facility with An Post and arrive in your mailbox within 10 days of your subscription order. Just remember to choose your first scent within 12 hours of placing your order.
