A strong contender for a warm-weather signature scent. It opens with an invigorating blend of green mandarin & bergamot, which is joined by that marine note. There's also that subtle hint of saltiness that adds to the oceanic vibe. As with all fragrances ive encountered, the initial citrus fades, & the heart introduces an aromatic freshness with rosemary, lavender & cypress. This gives it a mildly herbal vibe & builds on the greeness established in the top by the mandarin. The dry down is where Profondo truly distinguishes itself. It features a prominent mineral accord that gives it a unique salty, almost stony texture, along with the classic masculine combination of musk & patchouli.
